RMfitness

RMfitness offers a range of classes and services to help your reach your ultimate health and fitness goals. We focus on real motivation for health and fitness and think that figuring out your personal motivation (whatever that may be) is the key for achieving success. We believe in offering fun fitness options and realistic plans that fit into your lifestyle, rather than boring restrictive diets and training programs. Most people find this far more effective and enjoyable long term.

RMfitness offers personal training (mobile or studio-based), Fitness and nutritional advice/plans, Body Blitz and Zumba© classes.

Head trainer Rowan Macleod qualified as a Personal trainer in 2009 with the European Institute of fitness. She began her career in an exclusive corporate gym in Tower Bridge, London. Her clients taught her that if they weren't honest about their motivation or if their training and nutrition plans didn't fit into the lifestyle they wanted to lead, then they were less likely to stick to them and achieve their goals. She developed fun and effective exercise sessions along with realistic, tasty and healthy nutritional ideas and plans to fit into any lifestyle. She recently added Pole Fitness and Zumba© instructor in to her repertoire to be able to offer these fantastic fun and effective options for getting healthy, fit and strong.

Body Blitz

This high intensity class gives you an all over body work out aiming to improve strength, fitness, endurance and stamina. It is great for burning calories, reducing fat percentage and building lean toned muscles. Using a mixture of bodyweight exercises, free weights and cardiovascular exercises to make sure you get the best possible workout for your 60 minutes. Suitable for all levels of fitness and ability.

Zumba®

Yoga

Coming in May

Emma was born and raised in France. She tried yoga several times but was never convinced until she found a practice that really suited her during her dance program in New York; a fun yet challenging Vinyasa yoga practice. This is how Emma is eager to teach her classes; giving her students the possibility to challenge themselves whilst enjoying a practice that doesn’t feel heavy/serious.

Emma’s practice is also inspired by Iyengar yoga which enabled her to have a deeper comprehension of alignment. She also teaches pole dance and truly believes yoga has given her a better understanding of her body. Also, it further helped her connect it with her mind which was essential during stressful times and competitions.

All levels are welcome.

FlexiBeast

How bendy do you want to be?

FlexiBeast classes combine Yoga and Pilates with modern techniques such as PNF and partner stretching to develop flexibility and strength. The aim is to improve the range of motion around a joint while also stabilising and strengthening it. Classes are a valuable tool in working towards goals and in injury prevention. All levels are catered for. Whether you have a particular issue/goal you want to work on or you just feel you would like to feel more open in your movement, these classes are for you. It's a fun and relaxed environment. Just wear something comfy like leggings, layers are good and remember to bring some water!

Classes will provide a whole body workout and address a particular theme. You don't need to have any fancy equipment to get started.

Healthy Bendy Backs

These classes aim to stabilise the spine, increase range of movement and build strength. Using a combination of Yoga and Pilates with some partner stretching we also work the abdominals making sure the pelvis and shoulders are not missed out. This will also help to improve posture and is useful if you suffer from lower back pain.

Sensible Splits

Like the name says, these classes focus on working towards splits or if you're there already taking it to the next level. We work to prepare the muscles you need to open up for splits so that you develop a consistent and safe practice with splits which are also strong. The classes combine Yoga with PNF and partner stretches for maximum results. We may also occasionally use props.

Private Sessions - 1-1

training to address your individual flexibility training needs. These sessions can be to work on a particular goal or to simply understand your form and function better. If you have had a particular difficulty to work around we can address that too. Specialising in working with hypermobility. Any questions, please ask.
